Toasted cork: what it is

A Toasted Cork panel it is obtained through the agglomeration of cork granules based on the thermal roasting process, during which the bark of the cork oak releases its natural resin, suberin. The amount of resin thus released is sufficient to allow us to do without added adhesives to complete the agglomeration of our block. Once cooled, the suberin "wraps" each granule with a "film", protecting it and making it insensitive to water and humidity. Toasted cork: the CE marking

Made without the use of added adhesives - as prescribed by the requirements of the CE marking (EN13170) - and, in the case of CORKPAN panel by Tecnosugheri, certified by ANAB-ICEA and natureplus - the Toasted Cork turns out to be al 100% natural.
